East West Center for counselling and training

Presents,

A 4 weekend Experiential Workshop introducing you to Play Therapy

PLAY THERAPY uses a variety of play and creative arts techniques to alleviate chronic, mild and moderate psychological and emotional conditions in children that are causing behavioral problems and/or are preventing children from realizing their potential.

There is currently no University in India, teaching Play Therapy. There are only short introductory courses and one Diploma course in Play Therapy running in Bangalore, India (playtherapy.org.in).

“There is a certification course to become Play Therapist in Australia (https://interplaytherapy.com.au/). And in US, there is Mental Health Professionals Applying the Therapeutic Power of Play (https://www.a4pt.org/)”.

“The Play Therapist works integratively using a wide range of play and creative arts techniques, mostly responding to the child’s wishes (Play Therapy United Kingdom – PTUK CEO Monika Jephcott )”.

This 4 weekends Play therapy training for therapists interested to use Play in their Therapy sessions.
