Art therapy sessions for children- Every Saturday

Exploring and enhancing the child’s individuality and self-esteem using story/ art/ drama/ games/ collage/ music and movement.

Expressive Arts Therapy is a gentle non-judgmental approach, enabling the client to become aware of what is happening in his/her unconscious. It enhances self-awareness and facilitates change, including the relation to personal growth and community development. Expressive Arts Therapy can be practiced with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Expressive Arts Therapy is the practice of using storytelling, singing, instrumental music, movement and dance, drama, and visual arts, all together; in an integrated way, to foster human growth, development, and healing.

These expressive art group sessions help children become aware of their emotions and enables them to manage and regulate it. This is a safe space to express themselves through the medium of art.

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Art Materials (colors pencils/ crayons, A4 paper, pencil, eraser)

AGE GROUP: 10 to 15 years

DATE: Every Saturday

TIMING: 10:00 am till 11:30 am

PLATFORM: Zoom

FEE: Rs.100 (per child for one session)
