“A Psychodramatic Buffet for the Heart” Workshop in MUMBAI – 2020
Psychodrama is essentially a group action method. This could be used in any business establishment in team building, conflict management, stress management, identifying and working with stress, improving communication, building trust, identifying issues etc. This method is a spontaneous and creative method which is used by well trained and certified psychodramatists who are usually called the Psychodrama director. A director enables or facilitates a re enactment of real life situations, past incidents or situations or an inner mental process but acting them out in the present time.
If you are working in a HR team, as a corporate trainer, team leaders, life coaches or mentors or if you are a psychotherapist/ counsellor – This training will give you additional tools to understand and build your team members or clients.

Trainers:
Dr. Herb Propper, PhD, TEP, is a trainer, educator, and practitioner of psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy.
Herb Propper, Ph.D., T.E.P. is Resident Trainer for the Indian Institute of Psychodrama. He is a Certified Trainer Educator Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy with 40 years of experience in the field. He is a member of the American Board of Examiners, and a fellow of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP).
Since 2003 he has been presenting trainings in Bangladesh. He is currently an Associate Member of the Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Society and trainer for the Dhaka University Departments of Clinical Psychology and Educational/Counseling Psychology, the Psychology Department of Rajshahi University, and the Dramatics Department of Jahangirnagar University. Herb is a 2009 Fulbright Scholar to Bangladesh, and currently a member of the Fulbright Specialist Roster in Social Work. Herb has been a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism (Mahayana, Vajrayana) since 2001, and is also ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist monk.
Ms. Magdalene Jeyarathnam, Director of Indian Institute of Psychodrama,
has worked for almost 25 years as a Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer. She is an Expressive Arts therapist and completed 800 hours of psychodrama training to become an Australia and Aotearoa board(ABP)certified Psychodramatist.
She has worked as consultant to several governments as WHO and UNICEF consultant. She is a member of the International association of Group Psychotherapy and Group process. She is a faculty in Indian Institute of Psychodrama which she founded in 2013 after working in bringing world class psychodrama trainers since 2009. She is also the Director of East West Center for Counselling and Training which is an Expressive Arts therapy Center based in Chennai, India.
