This is essentially a group action method. This could be used in clinical setting(hospitals, therapy centers), non clinical setting like a business establishment in team building, conflict management, stress management, identifying and working with stress, improving communication, building trust, identifying issues etc. This method is a spontaneous and creative method which is used by well trained and certified psychodramtists who are usually called the Psychodrama director. A director enables or facilitates a re enactment of real life situations, past incidents or situations or an inner mental process but acting them out in the present time.We are pleased to invite participants to join us for Level One training @ ChennaiWho should train?
If you are working in a HR team, as a corporate trainer, team leaders, life coaches or mentors, psychotherapists / counsellors. This training will give you additional tools to understand your team members better. This training will enable you to build the teams you are working with.

Our trainers for Level One –
Magdalene Jeyarathnam, has worked for 22 plus years as a Counsellor, Expressive Arts therapist and is a board certified Psychodramatist. She has worked as consultant to several governments as WHO and UNICEF consultant. She is a member of the International association of Group Psychotherapy and Group process, she is also a member of Moreno Psychodrama Society, which is affiliated to the Australian and Aotearoa (New Zealand) Board of Psychodrama (ABP). She is a faculty in Indian Institute of Psychodrama which she founded in 2013 after working in bringing world class psychodrama trainers since 2009. She is also the Director of East West Center for Counselling and Training which is an Expressive Arts therapy Center based in Chennai, India.

 

Dr. Jorge Burmeister, Psychotherapist and Psychiatrist, of Spain and Switzerland.
Jorge is trained in Psychodrama, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Analytical-Pair Therapy, Family Therapy, Guided Day-Dream Technique, and Jungian Analysis. He is the founding member, FEPTO (Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organisations, www.fepto.com ).He is the Immediate Past President of the International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes.He is dean, International Summer Academy for Trans-cultural Group Work (Granada, Spain).

 

Sue Daniel, BA, DipT, MApS, TEP, is a psychodramatist and psychotherapist in private practice in Melbourne, Australia. She directs the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne, Sue is an International Trainer, Educator and Practitioner of Psychodrama (TEP), an honorary Visiting Professor at the M u r o r a n University in Hokkaido, Japan and one of the principal trainers working with the Indian Institute of Psychodrama. Sue is a yoga practitioner, fine art photographer and prolific writer and speaker. She has worked in over 30 countries, on five continents since 1986. She founded the Moreno Psychodrama Society, and chairs the Australian and Aotearoa (New Zealand) Board of Psychodrama.

 

Lethe Gaskin, is a Psychodramatist (TEP), psychologist and group psychotherapist working in private practice in Melbourne and a supervisor and consultant in the Health field. She is the Co-Founder and Director of the Psychodrama institute of Aotearoa (New Zealand), and she is the Chairperson of the Australia and Aotearoa Board of Psychodrama (ABP).
